have a good plan..and can't have too much screen time now :)

buy some wood buy a length...so the plan is to cut it with the table saw...had a problem today with it, the cog bit that turns the blade, shifted a little, and the blade cut into the metal side, turned it off real quick is what i did.

so what i did as quick solve, put some tape on it to stop the cog moving, and it seems fine.

so yeh use the 12 volt table saw from the solar charge controller output, and then use the NEJE ( does a small laser engraving) with a usb extension cable (from the solar charge controller) to power it. make some more alphabet letters is good :) anyway screen time tough, computer costing money ever week, make good habits, have got a good thing from shopping already :)
