6 lengths of pine 18mm by 18mm by a bit more than a metre

2 lengths were cut into 23.5cm supports

making four connectors at the base, and 3 more shelves high 10 connectors in total

4 lengths as the frame

the pine was a bit more than $6 each

the dowels were a bit more $2.5 for a 50 pack

the glue a bit more than $12

the shelf flats are plywood, cut and sanded from larger plywood.

yeh finished it this afternoon, the other day, started the corner planer on the 4 lengths, easier to handle.

used my pencil and ruler to make a line in the various heights, and used the dowel jig to make the holes in the proper spot, also use the dowel jig to make the holes in the connectors

made them in the proper spot without too much difficulty, with the drill bit from the dowel jig kit making a clean internal round. all the holes went in on the proper face, all the holes went in mostly accurate, not all holes had the depth you wanted.

excellent!!!!

the dowel jig was great, couldn't have done it without it, easy to use, and make multiple properly found holes. for an 18mm side a centre of a round is 9mm so tighten it up to 9mm and clamp the wood to the table and the jig to the wood and your good.
